Marie Curie Training Site Fellowship - Personalising E-Commerce Using Web Mining (Personet)

Background

The Web Mining group in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ulster has established an EU funded Marie Curie Training Site called Personet. The aim of Personet is to provide training to PhD students from across Europe on "Personalising E-Commerce Using Web Mining".  For details of Marie Curie Fellowships, click here. An allowance of €1200 per month is payable to each Fellow. 

Availability

Fellowships are available immediately. Individual Fellowships are for 3-12 months in duration, and the final Fellowships must be completed by September 2004.  Fellowship start dates are negotiable, depending on the requested duration of the Fellowship, and vacancy availability. A selected fellow will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant culture with opportunities for participating in theoretical training courses and gaining practical skills through working with a leading research team on EU funded projects.

Prerequisites

Fellows will typically have an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in an IT or business related discipline and be currently undertaking a postgraduate research qualification related to e- commerce. Candidates specialising in Web Mining would be preferred. 

In accordance with the European Commission eligibility criteria,  applicants must be nationals of a Member or Associated State, or residing in the Community for at least the last five years and must be  pursuing doctoral studies in a subject area similar to that of the Training Site, in a country other than that of the Training Site.
